To prepare for Election Day, we will be doing some fun voting activities tomorrow. We will read Duck for President and have our own election to vote for Duck or Farmer Brown for President. We will also read a Scholastic magazine about the election process.
This week we will begin a new STEM challenge which involves the students creating an instrument. If you have any items such as tissue boxes, cereal boxes, paper towel/toilet paper rolls, or any other items you think would be useful for this challenge, please do not hesitate to send them our way.
Remember our Thanksgiving play will be on Friday, November 18th from 9:30-10:30 am. We started practicing last week and the students are so excited and working hard!

Math: Place Value 20-99, word problem practice, and adding/subtracting to 20.
Phonics: We will continue working with digraphs (th and wh).
Social Studies: We will begin learning about Thomas Jefferson towards the end of this week.
STEM: Musical Instrument Challenge.
Writing: Informational Writing
Reading: Daily 5 Rotations and Non-fiction Text Features.
