Hi Parents!
This week we will finish our Continents/Oceans Rotations on Monday due to our “snow day” last Tuesday. Please review using the Landforms app for our assessment on Tuesday.
Here is what we have going on this week:
Monday: Continents, Oceans, and Landforms Rotations
Tuesday: Exceptional Children’s Week Play
Wednesday: Target Day
Friday: ILC Check Out and Guidance with Mrs. Grindstaff
Here is what we are learning this week:
Math: One More, One Less, Ten More, and Ten Less Unit. We will work on using a 120 chart to add/subtract 10 from two digit numbers.
Social Studies: Wrap up unit on Continents, Oceans, and Landforms.
Writing: Opinion Writing. This week we will write an opinion writing based on the book, “Hey, Little Ant”. Students will determine if the little boy in the story should squish or save the ant.
Reading: Daily 5 Rotations and determining the Central Message in a fiction story.
Phonics: Vowel Teams. This week we will work on the vowel teams: ai and ay
Thanks,
Mrs. Paine
