Hey Parents!
Zoo field trip permission forms went home last Monday. Please fill out BOTH sides of the form and send it back with your child this week. If you would like to chaperone, please remember that you will meet us at the zoo and no siblings may attend.
Wednesday is Early Release – Dismissal will begin at 12:20 pm. We do have snack and lunch on early release days.
Report cards for quarter 3 will be live next Friday, March 20th. This week will be wrapping up our standards for quarter 3.
Here is what have going on this week:
Wednesday: Early Release
Thursday: Target Day
Friday: LLC Lesson and Check Out
Here is what we are learning this week:
Reading: This week, we will review identifying the central message of a story as well as review point of view of a fiction story.
Writing: We will review writing Small Moment stories. This week we will focus on adding details and telling the story bit by bit.
Math: We will continue our unit on adding within 100 with word problems. We will review and practice the steps to solving word problems: understand, plan, solve, and explain.
Science: We will learn about Animals and their basic needs: air, water, food, and shelter.
STEAM: We are continuing to monitor our carrot sprouts’ growth. We are hoping to be able to transplant outside in a couple of weeks!
Thank you!
Mrs. Paine
